|  | Eastern League Honors Week's Premier Player Monday, April 12th, 2010: Adrián Andrade seems to put youthful exuberance into every pitch he throws and last week he threw up numbers that even the oldest of veterans would look at with envy. That's why the 23-year-old hurler was chosen the Eastern League Player of the Week Award.
Andrade notched 2 wins for the Yomiuri Giants. He finished the week with 10 strikeouts and an ERA of 0.50 while holding the opposition to a .131 average.
|  | Andrade Holds Marines Scoreless Friday, April 9th, 2010: The Chiba Marines met their match today in Yomiuri hurler Adrián Andrade. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 4-hit shutout.
"He just worked us over," the Chiba skipper said. "He probably didn't even take a shower after the game. I don't think he even worked up a sweat. They could probably pitch him again tomorrow."
In the 4-0 victory Andrade whiffed 7 and gave up no walks.
